What is Bio Wash

Bio-wash is a finishing process that improves fabric quality by reducing the billing tendency and opacity of (cellulose) knitted fabrics. This finishing process is applied to cellulose textiles, which create permanent effects through the use of enzymes. This process removes stretched fibers and slabs from knitted fabrics, significantly reduces shrinkage, softens the fabric hand and gives a softer fabric look.

About the process:

The biowashing process is aimed at removing the small fiber ends that protrude from the yarn surface, thereby reducing the tangling or tangling of the fabric. The hydrolysis action of the enzyme weakens the fibers, which are long enough to break down and remove a small body abrasive force. Bio wash can be done at any time during wet processing, but is most conveniently done after bleaching.

This can be done in continuous or block processes. However, continuous processes require some incubation time for enzymatic degradation to occur. Removing the fuse brightens the color, makes the fabric texture more transparent, and reduces the tablet. Soft threads enhance the softness, texture and feel of the fabric.
