So, the key question is what quality do you want to offer your customers. Are you looking for something cheaper or want to create something that will attract more customers? We usually recommend and like to work towards a second case.

Round neck T-shirts-Commonly used T-shirts are made of 100% cotton. Many brands these days offer different blends, but 100% cotton is always the best choice.

In cotton tea, you may have heard of GSM and wondered what it means, well, GSM basically means grams per square meter. Basically how many grams weigh per square meter. This is the initial factor when checking the quality of the fabric. However, Tigger may not always be the best. Please read the previous sentence and understand well. Consumers often ask for thicker material compared to GSM-only products. So I repeat that Tiger is not always the best. Is still the initial measurement of GSM quality.

GSM types

1- 90 GSM- 120 GSM- These compounds are generally not available in cotton, they are only available in polyester. They are used for promotional purposes, marathons, rallies, etc., and are usually worn casually and usually after the event.

2- 140 GSM- 140 GSM in the next row. We have it available in Jersey Cotton T-shirts. These are also for advertising purpose. Also often used for underwear with baby clothes and clothing lines. Our 140 GSM cotton T-shirts are made of Ringspan semi comb cotton. Wiping is the process of removing excess fiber from the fabric. We will talk in detail about the comb in a separate post. 3. 160 GSM – This is the starting point of regular wear tees. Classic low weight t-shirts are made with this weight. Our 160 GSM tees come in 2 variants – comb and half cone. We always recommend the comb type for allies.

4. 180 GSM – This is God the Father in Jersey T-shirts. This is the type most widely used around the world. This represents 5.3 ounces of tea. It has the right thickness. Not thin enough to be cheap or thick, it can be hot and uncomfortable. This is correct. All brands will most likely have these types in most of their lines. Coming to processing. We do 180 gsm in half gimp and comb variants. We also offer a third category, Combed + Biowash / Biopolish. We rarely handle half the wire until ordering. Our best-selling tea is 180 gsm compote (with or without biowash). Coming to BioWash, its process is so important that you have to dedicate a separate post to BioWash. In short though – BioWash softens premium fabric by removing enzymes using enzymes.

5. 200 GSM – This is the most premium fabric used by top end brands. Since it makes no sense to buy high quality without biowash, we only have comb and biowash made varieties for this weight. 200 gsm biowashed teas have a very smooth feel and a premium look. And they will last a long time. These are 5.9 OZ heavyweight teas.

After reading the fabric properties and their properties above, we may have shed some light on the equation. But the fabric properties are so complex that GSM alone cannot determine the best tea, we have to look at various factors like post processing, laundry, dyeing, thread count, sewing.
